Christelle Hagen
Birth Doula + Breastfeeding Counselor
Serving East Metro + St. Croix Valley + Western Wisconsin
It is such a privilege to walk with families as they grow from partners to parents.
As an experienced mother of seven living children, with a crazy variety of personal birth experiences (everything from a peaceful home waterbirth ~ to a crazy fast "shower" birth ~ to a family-centered cesarean birth when my baby was only thirty weeks along) I am keenly aware that we humans make plans but God writes the story.
As a certified birth and postpartum doula, I aim to provide person-centered care to every family I have the honor and blessing to serve.
My heart for this work is rooted in my Catholic faith and the belief that every birth and parenting journey should be filled with joy, peace, and compassionate support.
I’ve spent decades dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence they need—not just to get through birth, but to truly thrive as a family.
I wear a few different hats, including being a Certified Labor & Postpartum Doula, a Certified Professional Breastfeeding Counselor, a Certified Birth & Bereavement Doula, and a Certified End-of-Life Doula.
Whether it’s providing hands-on support during your birth, helping you navigate those first dizzying weeks at home, or supporting you through the deeper, more difficult seasons of loss, I am here to provide care that honors your unique values and preferences.
When I'm not supporting families in person or virtually, you can usually find me teaching childbirth education or leading Baby Sign Play classes as well as mailing out care packages and layettes as part of my "Tiny Treasures" ministry to families facing or experiencing the loss of a baby.
My goal is always to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and ready to embrace the path ahead with confidence, no matter what your story may be.
My Christian faith shapes the way I serve. I welcome opportunities to incorporate prayer, Scripture, and Christ-centered encouragement for families who desire it, while always respecting each client’s unique journey.
I see my work as a calling—to bring peace, presence, and compassion into moments that matter deeply. My hobbies include kickboxing, writing, screenwriting, and acting.
Above all, I want every mother I serve to feel safe, supported, and strengthened as she steps into motherhood and pray for each family to grow ever deeper into love.
