Brenda Magler
Birth Doula
Serving Twin Cities Metro + St. Croix Valley + Western Wisconsin
Hi! My name is Brenda. I live in Stillwater, Minnesota, and I’m blessed with four grown children, three stepchildren and ten grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors - whether it’s hiking, biking, a game of pickleball or playing backgammon on the deck. I enjoy watching sports at all levels, from collegiate to professional but my greatest joy is cheering on my grandkids. I truly believe that every child is a precious gift from God, intentionally created and deeply loved.
Throughout your pregnancy and labor, I will lift your baby up in prayer asking for God’s peace, protection, and strength to surround them from the very beginning. I also pray that you would feel God’s presence, experience His peace, and walk into your birth with confidence and trust, knowing He is with you every step of the way.
Because I was able to deliver two of my children in a hospital setting with OBGYN’s and two in my home with Midwives, I feel I have a good perspective on the options available to families and the uniqueness of each birth story. God has created every journey differently, and I'm thankful I am able to walk alongside women as they step into this sacred, life-changing moment. I became a doula because of my heart to serve, encourage, and support women as they prepare for and experience childbirth.
This journey is meant to be filled with peace, strength, and joy, especially when you are surrounded by the right support. Your birth experience will become a lasting memory, and I am here to help you feel informed, empowered, and confident in every decision you make. I will be with you to encourage different positions, apply counter pressure, help with breathing and relaxation. I will work with your partner to also include them in this experience. Together, we will seek to create a birth experience that reflects your desires while trusting in God’s plan for you and your baby.
I believe wholeheartedly that the moment you receive your child into your arms is a glimpse of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and love. It would be an honor to be part of your team—supporting you emotionally, physically, and prayerfully as you walk through this incredible journey.
