Lactation Support
Breastfeeding and bottle feeding can come with both joyful moments and unexpected challenges. Lactation consultants and breastfeeding specialists help families navigate feeding questions, latch concerns, milk supply challenges, and newborn feeding transitions. These providers offer support to families during pregnancy, postpartum, and throughout the early months with a new baby.

Kingdom Beginnings Lactation + Feeding Support is a resource we are deeply grateful to offer families within our own care team. Feeding a baby can be beautiful, tender, overwhelming, emotional, and sometimes very different than what a family expected. Because of that, we believe families deserve support that is compassionate, practical, and centered around their unique goals.
One of the things we deeply value about our lactation and feeding team is that care is never one-size-fits-all. Whether a family is breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, combo feeding, preparing prenatally, or navigating feeding challenges after birth, our heart is to help them feel informed, encouraged, and never shamed in the process.
We also believe prenatal feeding support should be a normal part of preparing for baby, not something families only seek once they are overwhelmed or facing concerns. Meeting prenatally gives families space to talk through feeding goals, learn what to expect in the early days, understand normal newborn feeding patterns, prepare for pumping or bottle use if needed, and make a plan before sleep deprivation and postpartum recovery are already in full swing.
Our team offers support for families working through latch concerns, pumping questions, milk supply conversations, bottle support, prenatal feeding preparation, returning to work, weaning, and the emotional weight that can come with feeding decisions. We also value helping families understand when additional or higher-level lactation care may be needed, so they can receive the right support at the right time.
Because Kingdom Beginnings also offers birth doula support, postpartum doula care, childbirth education, and nutrition support, our lactation and feeding services can fit naturally into the bigger picture of pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and early family life. This can be especially helpful for families who want access to many valuable services in one place, with a team that can communicate, collaborate, and support the whole season more seamlessly.
We are grateful to offer Kingdom Beginnings Lactation + Feeding Support because families deserve to feel cared for, listened to, and supported no matter how their feeding journey unfolds. Our goal is not to pressure families into one path, but to help them move forward with more confidence, peace, and practical tools.
Best for: Families seeking prenatal feeding preparation, breastfeeding support, pumping support, bottle-feeding support, combo feeding guidance, postpartum feeding support, latch support, milk supply conversations, returning-to-work support, weaning support, and compassionate feeding care through pregnancy, postpartum, and early family life. Also a wonderful fit for families wanting access to many valuable services in one place, including birth doula support, postpartum care, childbirth education, lactation and feeding support, and nutrition support.

Nourish 911 is a provider we are grateful to know and refer families to, especially for families seeking specialized support with lactation, infant feeding, nutrition, safety, and whole-family wellness. Her care brings together a unique blend of clinical knowledge, practical education, and calm support for families navigating pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, and early parenthood.
One of the things we deeply appreciate about Madelyn is the wide range of experience she brings to the families she serves. As an IBCLC and Dietitian Nutritionist, she is able to support both lactation and nutrition in a way that feels connected and comprehensive. Her background in emergency medical services also brings a steady, safety-minded perspective that can be incredibly reassuring for families.
We especially value providers who understand that lactation and feeding support can begin before baby is born. Prenatal support gives families the opportunity to prepare ahead of time, ask questions, talk through past feeding experiences, discuss nutrition and postpartum nourishment, and create a plan before challenges arise. Instead of waiting until a family is exhausted, worried, or in crisis, prenatal care helps them enter the early days with more confidence and support already in place.
Nourish 911 can be such a gift for families navigating breastfeeding challenges, pumping questions, bottle-feeding, infant feeding concerns, milk supply conversations, nutrition needs, postpartum nourishment, or the desire to feel more prepared and confident in caring for their baby. We appreciate providers who take time to educate, listen, assess thoughtfully, and support families with both knowledge and compassion.
We also value that Nourish 911 offers more than lactation support alone. With education around nutrition, CPR, first aid, and car seat safety, families have access to practical guidance that supports both feeding and everyday confidence in caring for their baby. This makes Nourish 911 a wonderful resource for families who want many valuable services within one place instead of piecing together support from several different providers.
We are grateful to refer families to Nourish 911 because Madelyn offers care that is knowledgeable, calm, practical, and deeply supportive. Her work helps families feel more confident in feeding, nourishment, safety, and the early days of parenting.
Best for: Families seeking prenatal lactation preparation, IBCLC lactation support, breastfeeding support, pumping guidance, bottle-feeding support, infant feeding support, nutrition support, postpartum nourishment, CPR and first aid education, car seat safety education, and practical family-centered support in the Twin Cities metro and virtually.

Why we refer here: River Valley Lactation
River Valley Lactation is a lactation support provider we are grateful to know and refer families to. Kayli brings both professional expertise as an IBCLC and personal experience as a mother who has breastfed herself, which adds such a meaningful layer of understanding to the way she supports families.
One of the things we greatly appreciate about Kayli is her heart for making lactation support accessible, personal, and confidence-building. She offers in-home and virtual visits, which can be such a gift for families who need skilled support without the added stress of packing up a newborn and leaving home.
We also deeply appreciate that River Valley Lactation accepts many insurance plans and offers options that help families receive the care they need without lactation support feeling out of reach. This matters so much, because feeding support should be something families can access early, consistently, and without unnecessary barriers.
Another thing we value is Kayli’s willingness to walk with families through more than just one quick moment of care. Weekly visits and ongoing support can make such a difference for families who are navigating latch concerns, milk supply questions, pumping, bottle feeding, weighted feeds, oral function concerns, or simply needing reassurance that things are moving in the right direction.
We are grateful to refer families to River Valley Lactation because Kayli’s care is thoughtful, practical, and encouraging. Her goal is not just to give information, but to help families leave their time together feeling more confident, supported, and equipped for their feeding journey.
Best for: Families seeking in-home or virtual lactation support, prenatal breastfeeding preparation, postpartum feeding support, insurance-friendly lactation care, weekly lactation visits, latch support, supply concerns, pumping guidance, bottle feeding support, and confidence-building care from an experienced IBCLC.
