Hello! I am so thrilled to be on my birth work journey with Kingdom Beginnings Birth Services.

Through my time as a doula, I have had the opportunity to support families through a variety of births, from long labors to fast and intense situations, different birth plans, and healing after traumatic birth experiences. Every birth has continued to confirm that I was made for this work.

I love helping mothers find ways to cope with labor, with or without medication, while bringing comfort through my voice, touch, massage, counter pressure, prayer, and positive affirmations. I especially value helping create a birth environment that reflects what each mother needs to feel safe, supported, and confident.

What first drew me to birth work was a fascination with the incredible way God designed our bodies for pregnancy and birth. I first discovered doulas as a teenager while researching birth options and was deeply moved by the role of someone who could walk closely with a mother during such a vulnerable and powerful experience. It took me twelve years to answer that calling, but after attending my first birth, I knew this was what I had been meant to do.

Before becoming a doula, I worked as an educator, and I still love teaching. Prenatal education has become one of my favorite parts of birth work, and I enjoy finding creative ways to help families understand their bodies, their options, and the birth process.

Outside of birth work, I am a stay-at-home mom and live with my husband and children on our hobby farm in Foley, Minnesota. Our family includes three boys, our daughter Evangeline who is forever a baby in heaven, and another baby due in August 2026. Our farm is also home to chickens, ducks, horses, barn cats, and several very large dogs!

I am a Catholic Christian, gardener, casual knitter, and lifelong writer who has self-published several books. My faith, family, and experiences have deeply shaped how I care for others.

There is no greater honor to me than walking alongside a family as they welcome one of God's precious children into the world.
