Emma Potts | Birth Doula + Postpartum Doula
Hello, my name is Emma Potts, and I feel so blessed to walk alongside families during such a sacred season. Supporting women and families has been my passion since the birth of my son in 2017. Shortly after his arrival, I felt called to train with DONA International to become a birth doula. My own experience with doulas deeply inspired me, and I knew I wanted to offer the same loving, empowering support to others.
A few years later, after welcoming my daughter, I expanded my work and became a certified Postpartum Doula through Modern Doula Education in 2019. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many families—including those with multiples. Providing continuous care through the prenatal, birth, and postpartum stages allows me to bring a sense of consistency and comfort to each family I serve. I believe every family deserves support, and I’ve witnessed firsthand how personal, compassionate care can help a new mother lean in and fully embrace this transformative time. As a mom of four, I’ve experienced the power of that support myself.
A little about me:
• I’m a devoted mother of four, including a set of twins. Supporting families with multiples has become a special passion of mine, and I truly believe God prepared me for this work through my own experiences.
• I love spending time outdoors—taking nature walks, kayaking, or simply grounding myself by getting my toes in the dirt.
• Cooking brings me joy, especially preparing fresh, nourishing snacks for families during the postpartum season.
• I serve on the Parent Leadership Team at my children’s Montessori school, where I embrace the belief that everyone learns differently. I strive to educate and support families in newborn care and feeding in ways that best fit their unique needs.
I feel called by God to serve families through birth and postpartum care—caring not only for your baby, but for you as well. My heart is to create a space where you feel supported, nourished, and empowered as you welcome new life into your family.
