Hello, my name is Emma Potts, and I feel so blessed to walk alongside families during such a sacred season. Supporting women and families has been a passion of mine since the birth of my son in 2017. Shortly after birthing him I decided to train with DONA to become a birth doula. I was inspired by my own experience with birth doulas, and knew I was called to support other women in the same loving, empowering way I had been supported.
A few years later, after welcoming my daughter, I decided to expand my work and became a certified Postpartum Doula through Modern Doula Education in 2019. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting numerous families, including many with multiples. Currently I am focusing in on postpartum while intentionally taking my knowledge and experience from supporting births into every family I support in the postpartum period. I believe every family deserves postpartum support, and I’ve seen firsthand how having a nurturing, comfortable space—with nourishing snacks and hands-on feeding support—can help a new mom focus on healing and bonding with her baby. As a mom of four, I’ve experienced the transformative power of this support myself.
A little about me:
• I’m a devoted mother of four, including my own set of twins. Supporting families with multiples has been a passion, and I truly believe God prepared me through my work with multiples before I had my own.
• I love spending time outdoors—nature walks, kayaking, or simply getting my toes in the dirt and grounding myself.
• Cooking is one of my joys, and I love preparing fresh, healthy snacks to ensure families are nourished during the postpartum season.
• I serve on the Leadership Team at my children’s Montessori school and embrace the belief that everyone learns differently. I am here to educate and support you in newborn care and feeding in a way that fits your family.
I feel called by God to serve families during the postpartum season, providing care for not just your baby, but for you as well. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, nourished, and empowered.
