Our Christian childbirth education blends evidence-based birth education with biblical encouragement and faith-centered support. Families learn practical tools for labor, such as comfort measures, decision-making frameworks, and support person involvement, while also deepening their trust in God’s design for birth. This course is designed to strengthen both knowledge and faith as you prepare for labor, birth, and postpartum.
-
We highly recommend that all families complete a childbirth education. Childbirth education and doula support serve different but complementary roles. While doulas provide hands-on, continuous support during labor, as well as education throughout, this course equips you with foundational knowledge, preparation, and confidence before birth. Together, childbirth education and doula support create a well-rounded, empowered birth team.
-
Absolutely. This course is intentionally designed for both moms and support persons. Support persons learn how to support labor physically, emotionally, and spiritually, understand the stages of birth, and work together as a team. Many couples find that taking the course together strengthens communication, confidence, and connection before birth.
-
Hospital childbirth classes often focus primarily on the medical process of labor and delivery. Our Christian childbirth education takes a whole-person approach, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of birth. Families receive evidence-based education, comfort measures for all birthing scenarios, support person preparation, and biblical perspective, framing birth as a God-designed experience rather than something to fear.
-
Yes. This childbirth education course is designed for families planning hospital births, home births, or birth center births.
